Rio de Janeiro Street Zine - Digital

$25.00

This digital zine is a visual journey through Rio de Janeiro, a city that reshaped how I see the world.

I arrived in Rio after college with little more than a camera and a desire to immerse myself in a place that had long intrigued me. What began as an uncertain leap became a profound exploration of a city defined by its contrasts—its breathtaking landscapes and relentless urban energy, its vibrant culture and enduring struggles.

These photographs are moments I gathered while wandering Rio’s streets. They are the result of learning to see—to frame a scene, to wait for the right moment, to let the city reveal itself.

It is my attempt to share what I saw and felt during my time there—the beauty, the chaos, the humanity.

Each photograph is a memory, a story, a piece of the city that stays with me. I hope they resonate with you, too.

This zine contains all of my selected photos from when I was living in Brazil, from 2014 to 2016. It includes the photos from my World Cup, Olympics, and Carnaval zines, plus additional photos only found in this zine. There are 79 photos in this zine.

The purpose of this zine is to:

  • Show you a snapshot of this time and place.

  • Serve as a source of inspiration for your own street photography.

  • Help you get an idea of the types of photos you can take in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

  • Is an affordable way for you to support my work.
