Gear isn’t everything, but I couldn’t make the photography and videography work I do without it. Below is my current setup.
My street photography gear

Ricoh GR III
The Ricoh GR III was released six years ago, and I still continue to be impressed with the image quality of this little camera. I really don’t need anything else to make street photos. The 28mm focal length is perfect for street photography in my opinion, and the lens is very sharp. The colors that come out of this camera are beautiful.

DJI Osmo Pocket 3
I’ve been using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to make all of my street photography YouTube videos. So far I have nothing but good things to say about this video camera - it’s really easy and fun to use. It automatically pairs with the mic that I got that came with the Creator Combo. It just works and gets out of the way.

Cwatcun Small Camera Backpack
I’ve been very pleased with this small camera bag by Cwatcun. I hadn’t heard of the company before but it was very affordable so I decided to take a gamble. This holds my Ricoh GR III, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, and some accessories. I really don’t like being weighed down when I’m doing street photography, so this bag was the perfect size and although it’s just one strap, you can use it like a backpack, which is great because I’m not a huge fan of sling bags. Because it works like a backpack, the weight is more evenly distributed and is comfortable to wear all day.
