Olympics in Rio de Janeiro Street Zine - Digital
This digital zine is a collection of my street photography from Rio de Janeiro during the 2016 Olympics. It’s not about the games themselves or the polished spectacle you saw on TV—it’s about the streets, the people, and the moments I witnessed while wandering the city with my camera.
Despite the chaos, the Olympics brought a unique energy to the city. People were out in the streets—celebrating, arguing, laughing, and, of course, watching soccer.
This project is my way of documenting that time. It’s about the little things that caught my eye: the light, the movement, the expressions, and the rhythms of life in Rio. These photos are raw, candid, and unpolished—just like the city itself during those weeks.
This zine contains 22 photographs that were taken during the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The purpose of this zine is to:
Show you a snapshot of this time and place.
Serve as a source of inspiration for your own street photography.
Help you get an idea of the types of photos you can take in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Is an affordable way for you to support my work.
